Chef Kris Suita
Kris Siuta has been a working chef for 15 years. His fascination with all things food began in high school when he took a culinary class. That class led to his work at the Radisson Hotel in New Jersey. After graduating from high school, Siuta continued his education at The Culinary Institute of America in New York. While at the CIA, he was fortunate to work in some great restaurants in New York City, including Daniele’s, Tavern on the Green and Tribecca Grille, which further enhanced his knowledge and understanding of food.
After graduating from the CIA, Siuta went to work for the Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. While at the Greenbrier, he served as a rounds-man, attending to the needs of the more experienced chefs at the resort. Following his time at the Greenbrier, Siuta opened his own restaurant, Delightfully Yours, a highly successful bakery and cafe, in Beaver, West Virginia. He ran Delightfully Yours for five years before being hired as Executive Chef for Raleigh General Hospital.
Siuta enjoys a la minute cooking, pastries, breads, interacting with his patrons and sharing with them his love of food. He enjoys wine, spirits, and exotic flavored beers and is constantly in search of new food, new flavors and new techniques.
